Interesting analysis, worth a read.
I don't agree with his final conclusion, because there are both advantages and disadvantages  to each form of money.  Assuming technology (and cheap cell phones) don't go away, it might be argued that bitcoin is a superior form of money for the technological future, while gold has greater limitations.
